Inequality and the cost of living crisis
The rising cost of living has been hitting households across the country hard. Spiralling energy prices, a misfiring housing market and the cost of goods and services threaten to derail our now re-opened economy.
Some households, however, have been hit more than others. TASC is delighted to announce the launch of its new inequality report The State we are in: inequality in Ireland 2022.
It looks at some of the causes and consequences of the rising cost of living, and how it has been felt most by those with least means to protect themselves.
The launch will take place on the morning of May 19th in Buswells Hotel from 11am-12.30pm.
Speaks to date include:
- Robert Sweeney (TASC)
- Tricia Kielty (SVP)
Eoin Flaherty (Maynooth University)Chaired by: Amie Lajoie (MABS)
And more to be announced.
