TASC Launches Belmayne Social Inclusion Voting Campaign Report

TASC was delighted to launch the Belmayne Social Inclusion Voting Campaign report yesterday at the Mansion House, alongside the Belmayne Community Group.
The report explores how strong local leadership and sustained community engagement can increase democratic participation and ensure that local voices and priorities are reflected in decision making. Speakers at the launch highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for communities to engage with the democratic process and to influence the issues that affect their everyday lives.
The findings showcase the impact of the Belmayne Community Group's work in fostering civic participation and strengthening connections between residents and local decision makers. Through collaboration, outreach and community leadership, the initiative demonstrates how locally led approaches can help build a more inclusive and representative democracy.
TASC extends its thanks to the Belmayne Community Group, the research participants and everyone who contributed to the project and the report. We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that strengthen democratic participation and social inclusion across Ireland.
