TASC publishes first ever Irish language report 'The People’s Transition: Uíbh Ráthach Gaeltacht'

We’re proud to share The People’s Transition: Uíbh Ráthach Gaeltacht, TASC’s first-ever report to also be published in Irish.
This project worked with the community to co-create climate solutions that address inequality, strengthen local resilience, and respond to key development priorities.
Through participative decision making, the project identified three strategic pathways:
- Supporting a community-led housing pilot with affordable, sustainable homes and shared community spaces
- Advocating for policies that enable long-term, affordable housing in the Gaeltacht
- Building a community-led housing network to strengthen collaboration and collective action
The report highlights how climate action can help tackle the rural housing crisis while also supporting language preservation, local livelihoods, and community wellbeing.
