Researcher - Climate Justice Stream

Do you want your work to support communities, promote equity, and accelerate climate action? TASC is looking for a researcher to join our growing Climate Justice team.


This is a unique opportunity to contribute to local and multilateral initiatives tackling climate breakdown through the lens of justice, inclusion, and empowerment.

🔎 What you’ll do:
Work on transformative projects like the People’s Transition and community-led geothermal energy initiatives.
Engage directly with communities to co-create solutions and build capacity for climate action.
Conduct research, facilitate events, and help shape progressive, people-centred policy.

🧩 You should apply if you:
Have a postgraduate degree (or relevant experience) in climate change, community development, or related fields.
Are passionate about social and environmental justice.
Bring strong facilitation, research, and communication skills.

💼 Details:
Full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract (with potential for extension)
Salary: €38,000 – €42,000 DOE
Flexible working arrangements (with some travel across Ireland)
