In memory of Chuck Feeney

The TASC board and staff mourn the passing of Chuck Feeney, who established Atlantic Philanthropies in part as a statement about how philanthropy can happen, or giving away all of one’s wealth during their lifetime.

A proud Irish-American, the work of Atlantic Philanthropies was essential for Irish civil society after the financial crisis and introduction of austerity measures. TASC benefited enormously from support from Atlantic Philanthropies. We offer our condolences to his family and to all who worked at the foundation.
