Dr Andrew Watt

Andrew Watt is Head of the Department Macroeconomic Policy Institute (IMK – Institut für Makroökonomie und Konjunkturforschung) in the Hans-Böckler Foundation. He was previously senior researcher at the European Trade Union Institute.

He has consulted and advised numerous bodies (incl. European Commission, European Economic and Social Council, Party of European Socialists, Foundation for European Progressive Studies, Member of the Economic Policy Advisory Council to the Chairman of the German SPD). He has taught at the University of Bielefeld and the University of Applied Sciences BFI, Vienna. Andrew is a regular columnist and blogger for the Social Europe journal.
